Effect of aging on heart and lungs of athlects

EFFECT OF AGING HEART AND LUNGS OF ATHLETES

In the early years up to 12 years of age of the boys are slightly stronger then the girls but during adolescence age when the biological and cultural influence the male more then the female to take part in activities, male become more stronger and active. The physical change brought out in the male are mostly due to testosterone hormone which increase bone size and muscles development.Muscles increase in size and strength. In advanced years the connective tissues are affected by exercise change is takes place in the connective tissues which become stuff decreasing the range of movement in the joints. The muscles fibers contract due to shortening of the contractile fibers, preventing their normal extension limiting their power, the changes in the connective tissues of muscles and ligaments and fascia, process the nerves and produce caches and pains in the old age.The inactivity and strained and postural abnormality causes pressure irritation of the nerve fibers producing Neuralgia. These conditions are relieved by gradual progressive  stretching exercises which elongate the fascia and release the compression of the peripheral nerve. In advanced age bone decrease in density due to removal of various inorganic minerals from the bones like ca,phosphorus,mg which are mobilized from the bone and excreted. This process is called desorption or disuse degenerative astroporouses. The growth process in which the size and mass of the body increases it is completed up to 20 years of age.

Development of the body is completed an advance age aging consists of progressive changes which takes place in various tissues.Exceeds the rate of replacement. The brain and the muscles cell do not have the capacity of cell division and regeneration and once destroyed are not replaced like other body cells.Exercise in the early ages will increases the body size. The heart rate response decreases  progressively to moderate exercises with increases age.The heart rate at six years may be up to 170/min which decreases at 6 years up to 140/mt.The increases heart rate in children may be due to sympathetic nervous system over stimulation in children. In advance age the maximum O2 consumption are up take Vo2 maximum
