GUIDELINE AND INFORMATION OF SWIMMING POOLS

SWIMMING;
Swimming is a International competition game.Swimming can be done either in one style or these styles can be combined.Swimming competition is held in lines which are 50 m in length 21 m in width and 1.8 m in depth.It has eight parallel lanes each having a width of 2.5 m,thus occupying a space of 20 m.A width of 0.5 m each one both sides before the first lane and after the eight lane,is left.The lanes are separated by ropes.At each end wall,the lane ends before a distance of 2 m with 1 m cross line.On the floor of each lane,a 46 m long and 0.20 m wide line are marked with contrast colour in its centre.There should be tolerance of 0.3 m above and 0.8 m below the surface of water on both end walls at all points.The walls are constructed of concrete non-slippery materials.
These should extend 0.8 m below the water level.One the walls of the pool gutters are placed,the gutters allow sufficient space for attachment of touch panels at a height of 0.3 m above the water surface.For maintaining constant level of water,the gutters are provided with adjustable shut off valves.The gutters are also covered with a screen.The platform used by an athlete to make his start should be 0.5-0.7 m high from water surface.The platform is square in shape with a length of 0.5 m.These should be prominently numbered on all sides.Handgrips for backstroke should also be provided at 0.3-0.6 m above the water surface.
Arrangement ;
If possible,should also be made to keep the temperature of water at 22c or 77f.The water level should also remain constant.Inflow or outflow of waqter if resorted to,should not create any current,ripples or disturbance.The use of electronic touch pad is preferred.These should be separate for each lane and should extend 30 cm above and 60 cm below the water level.These Should be of bright colour.
