Indies International left handed and big hitting cricket and player Chris Gayle
on wished Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Shsrif a successul surgery in a video
circulating on social media.Pakistani cricket batsman Ahmad Shahzadon his
twitter account features Chris Gayle sending his prayers to the premier and his
family as M.Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to
undergo open heart surgery in London on Tuesday.Gayle said,"my thoughts
and prayers go to the P.M in London,i wish him a successful surgery and i hope
all goes according to plane.He said,Mr-Muhammad Nawaz Sharif,God bless yo.u and
your family,and we all wish you wellFingers crossed,it will be a
success."Ahmad Shahzad also posted a video featuring his Quetta Gladiators
teammate and England batsman Kevin Pietersen who had a similar message for the
Pakistan Premier.
Pietersen said,"all the very best,thoughts and prayers with you
andyour family.I hope every things ok.The Prime Minister is expected to stay in
the hospital for a week.P.M daughter Maryam Nawaz said that the P.M had under
ground a cardiac procedure called Arial Fibrillation Ablation in 2011,during
which certain complications occurred resulting in perforation of heartwhich was
in turntreated by open heart surgery."She said,"after some recent
symtoms a team of cardiologists and cardiac surgeons carried out some scans and test following which they decided to go for an open heart
surgery."The media win of P.M house said,during this time,the premier will
be overseeing the affairs of his government from London.
The P.M is being
informed regularly about the overall situation of the country and in this
regard both the military and principal secretaries are regularly providing
assistance to the P.M who is also in direct contact with his cabinet colleagues
and issuing necessary orders."
PML-N's UnitedKindom President Zubair Gul said,the surgery which beganat
12 PM pakistani time,is expected to last anywhere from six to eight
hours.However,there is a great deal of secrecy surrounding the P.M's surgery
and it is not koow which hospital he has been admittedto.The premier could not
be found at the Royal Bromptonhospital inChelsen where he previously received
treament,and is presumed to have left his home with out detection.
