NHL-Gaborik injured after knee collides with Rangers’ Moore

With a six-point lead atop the Pacific Division, Los Angeles is all but certain to end up in the post-season. Really, the only concern was whether or not the Kings could stay healthy en route to the playoffs. It appears the Kings have hit their first bump in that road Friday night against the New York Rangers.Late in the first period, Marian Gaborik was backchecking while Rangers center Dominic Moore attempted to chip the puck into the Kings’ zone. In an attempt to stay onside, Moore slowed up which resulted in Gaborik colliding knee-on-knee with Moore. Gaborik was spilled to the ice and remained down for a few moments before skating gingerly off the ice:
