JUDO;
In judo game,the dimension of the judo area is 14 m x 14 m.Same times the length of the both sides are also increased 2m.The ground is covered by mats of approved metarils.The competition area comprises two parts,the contestant area and safety area.The contestant area is in the middle.It is in the form of a square either 9m x 9m or 10m x 10m including 1m wide danger zone.It is generally of red colour.The area out side the danger zone is the safty zone.From the centre of the danger zone,at adistance of 4m a part adhesive tapes of 6m in width and 25cm in length are fixed.This indicates the position of the competitions at the start and at the end of the competition.
The tapes are of two colours,red and white.The right tape is at right hand side of the referee and the other on at his left side.The game can be played on floor synthetic matting or a platform.The platform is made of solid wood which is elastic.It should be approximmately 50cm in height from the floor and 48m in length and width.The mats that cover the floor are generally 2m in length and 1m in width.They are made of pressed faom/straw.They should not get displaced during use,remain firm under foot and should be covered with smooth and non-slippery plasticized material of red and green colour.
